Addressograph Multigraph Corporation “The Straight Talking Copy People”
Identifier
F.2010-01-0070
Abstract
Actor James Whitmore simultaneously serves as narrator and pitchman in this Goldsholl & Associates-produced sponsored film. Whitmore speaks directly to the company's sales force and frames his sale pitch for Addressograph-Multigraph volume copying systems through quotes by Marcus Aurelius, Benjamin Franklin, and Henry Ford, among others. Models featured include the 4250 (a "smooth and solid performer") and the faster AM4975, which can print twice as fast as the 4250 because it has the ability to print on both sides of the paper in a single pass. This ability has a significant impact on cost reduction.
