Abstract
Home movie featuring teens hanging out in a Chicago basement, followed by footage of the ruins of a monastery in Serbia.
Description
The first part of the film was filmed in the basement of the Nogulich home (2128 West Waveland Ave. in Chicago). Pictured are Christ Nogulich and his friends Dan Miller, Mike Miller, Sue Sullivan, Kirk Klimkow, Ron Niehardt, Steve Ukropen, Herb Kaiser, Jerome Deske, and Wendy Miller. They drink beers and goof off. Patriarch Walter Nogulich appears briefly. This part is presumed to have been shot by Christ's sister/Walter's daughter Daniella Nogulich-Gomez (who later became a producer/director of commercials and films).
After a long stretch of black, the film switches to scenes shot at the ruins of an unknown monastery in Serbia (probably 14th century). This part may have been filmed by Walter, who was visiting the homeland with wife Helen around 1970.
