A black-and-white and color home movie following the lives of Chester, Milly, and Norma Faust during their years living at 8331 S Crandon Avenue in Chicago's South Shore neighborhood.
Description
Includes scenes of Christmas morning gift unwrapping, ice skating at Bessemer Park, South Shore getting 7 inches of snow, girls jumping rope, Milly posing in front of the newly-built Chicago Vocational School (2100 E 87th St) with a 1941 Buick, and the family playing with a puppy in the backyard. There are occasional handset title cards and in-camera transitions.
