The goal of the American Bible Society is to provide scriptures for everyone.

In times of stress, uncertainty, when all moves are questioned, when God indeed seems far away, when peace on earth seems only a phrase, an echo from some forgotten past, there is the Bible.

And wherever man may be found, in whatever circumstances, the American Bible Society is there with God's Word.

For those without sight, the Bible is recorded and also printed in Braille.

I once was lost, but now I am found, was blind, but now I see.

At least one book of the Bible has been translated into more than 1300 languages.

Over 3000 translators receive support from the American Bible Society.

In more than 150 countries served by the American Bible Society, many people who have never heard the teachings of Christ are given hope.

People are reading for the first time in their native tongues.

God so loved the world.

The world is learning of God's love through the Bible, the only book that holds the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
