And we're looking for a big day here, as we have been since yesterday.

It's a very fine effort by Brian.
We're doing extremely well.
Let me ask you, how long has Steed been involved in auto racing? Paul, actually, we got involved in racing just a little bit over a year ago.
And our first car was the Lola and the Can -Am race, driven by David Hobbs.
It was our first step into racing.
And from there, of course, we've come a long way.
Also, we got our first entry into USAC last year with Jimmy Carruthers finishing in ninth place at Indy, which, of course, for a first start was great.
Great start.
What do you feel auto racing does for a company like Steed? Well, I'll tell you, that would take a long time to discuss.
But just briefly, it certainly gives us brand identification.
It helps move our product into the hands of the consumer.
And our distributors are telling us about the things that are happening outside the confines of Steed itself in Itasca.
And it's just been amazing, the results that we've gotten through exposure, through racing.
Do you feel that racing lends credibility to the product? Yes.
You know, we were talking about that just the other day, Paul.
And we were talking about the various types of sponsors that you find in racing, from luggage to all types of things, holiday inns and various types of businesses that get their name out to the public through racing.
But Steed certainly does lend itself.
And certainly, it's an automotive product.
And we put it right in that engine and certainly see that the results come out with it.
And performance is what we're talking about, certainly.
And the engine does seem to be performing pretty well.
We saw Brian Redmond was on the pole originally in qualifying yesterday.
He's now starting fourth, but he could be back on the pole by the time he's out.
That's right.
He's right up there, right in the front.
You know, he's up with the top.
And about three seconds under the lap record.
That's right.
We're looking.
Brian's been, of course, really a mainstay for Steed.
He's second in the championship right now.
We're looking for a first.
We have four big races coming up.
How do you feel your teams have been doing this year? I know you're not only in Continental racing.
You're in drag racing, sponsorship.
You know, it's amazing.
I have to keep a chart on my desk to keep up with it myself.
We certainly have a USAC entry.
And everybody's heard of Bobby Unser, of course, who's done a great job with us.
And of course, the Carl Haas and Jim Hall team with Brian Redmond.
And certainly, we're also in the IMSA race with Buzz Marcus.
And we have Sad Tegan Bentley out on the West Coast.
They're going for a land speed record next month.
And we think they're going to get it.
And certainly, we've also entered into the dirt midgets with Merle Bentonhouser.
And we also went into AMA.
And as you can tell, the events are numerous.
I was going to say, you're in about every branch of the sport.
How many events do you think Steed will be directly involved in this year? I would say there's well over 100 events that we'll be involved in.
And certainly, that's the type of thing that's going to reach our consumer.
And that's what we want.
We want to tell our people about the product.
And it's the best way we've found.
And it certainly has been giving us the results we're looking for.
And with that range of events, I guess you're all over the country, really.
Certainly.
We're from coast to coast.
And we're also in Canada now.
And certainly, a lot of the racing exposure funnels into Canada.
And it certainly is a plus for us up in that area, too, Bob.
