An "artist's report" by Franklin McMahon about the Second Vatican Council (popularly known as Vatican II) which opened in October 1962 under Pope John XXIII and closed at the end of 1965 under Pope Paul VI. McMahon's narration and field recordings act as a soundtrack to his lightly animated drawings of the Vatican and various Catholic leaders.
