Waldron, Vince (was created by)
Playwright, director, and Emmy-winning writer Vince Waldron writes books (The Official Dick Van Dyke Show Book [1994], Classic Sitcoms: A Celebration of the Best in Prime-Time Comedy [1998]), plays (American Splendor, Confessions of a Ladykiller), and television shows (The Simpsons). With pop icon Ronnie Spector, Vince co-authored Be My Baby: A Memoir (1990), which earned a spot on Rolling Stone’s list of the "25 Best Rock and Roll Memoirs of All Time."

Vince launched his theatrical career as a performer at Chicago’s Second City, and is the creator and director of Totally Looped, the internationally acclaimed live stage show in which comedians improvise new dialogue to old movie clips they haven't screened in advance.

Waldron attended Antioch College after graduating high school in Chicago. Waldron was previously involved with CFA in tracking down negatives, additional footage, and color guides for the 2015 preservation of Metro!!! The School Without Walls, in which he appears as a subject.
