Abstract
"I was home from college one weekend when I discovered that my younger brother, a high school kid living in Roseland, had recently had a run-in with the local police over an incident involving some cartons of cigarettes that he and some friends had pilfered from the local corner store. I audiotaped an interview with him in which he explained the crime, and then combined that with some footage I shot downtown in the Loop that weekend and presented it as a final project for an Urban Studies seminar at school." - Vince Waldron
