Abstract
A silent home movie featuring children playing with their Christmas toys, a child’s third birthday party celebration, and families interacting outdoors with each other.
Description
A young girl, Mary, plays outside near the front stairs of her home with several toys and a baby carriage. Patches of snow cover the grass.
Mary sits inside in a high chair eating from her plate, dances in front of the fireplace, rides a rocking horse as her presumed sister plays with a doll, and both enact a tea party that includes a miniature stove and the doll. A silver Christmas tree sits in the background.
Then, children celebrate a third birthday party while eating desert and wearing paper hats as the parents look on. The kids wave small American flags outside and play “Ring Around the Rosie”.
Parents and children pose together outside for the camera and socialize. Mary rides her tricycle down the sidewalk, and then she practices being a flower girl for a wedding.
