Abstract
A sponsored film made by the Goldsholl Associates for the Carborundum Corporation, a Niagara Falls based producer of industrial abrasives. Through a mix of live-action and animation, the film describes how abrasives help "shape the world" as well as the organization or structure of the company. It begins with black and white images that depict the history of man's creation of tools, shelter and mobility from the bronze age to the twentieth century. The second half of the film illustrates the three types of abrasives (bonded, coated and loose) in addition to the company's distinct divisions and trading areas or distribution.
