Description
The film opens to a row a chairs on a viewing deck where Dorothy Glick and her children, Diane and Sheldon, are presented seated amongst friends. Dorothy is also seen leaning against a guardrail Lake Michigan can be seen in the background. Close-up shots portray the children playing and reading. The scene switches to a crowded ice rink where Diane and Sheldon can be seen attempting to stay balanced in their skates.
