Abstract
This tape begins with Chicago visuals of Metra trains, the Sears Tower, the Civic Opera Building, vendors along the Madison St bridge, and CTA “L” trains along the Chicago skyline. The footage then documents candidate Frank Avila and his ward coordinator Daniel Gonzalez putting up campaign posters in Chintatown along Cermak Rd. Shown next is a campaign sign featuring an illustrated portrait of Ald. Ambrosio Medrano in Pilsen, followed by an interview with Medrano in his campaign office where he discusses his political career, the importance of grassroots constituent service, and mobilizing the next generation of Hispanic voters.
