Date Of Production
circa 1970
Abstract
A short montage of close-ups of flowers, and some wider shots of flowers on display in the Lincoln Park Conservatory. This film has lost a great deal of cyan and yellow in the picture, but some remains.
Description
Footage begins around 45 seconds into the film. Contains lilacs, lilies, tulips, and other common garden flowers. Includes a few select wide shots: one shows the reflections of flowers in a pond, another shows some of the scale of the greenhouse setting, with the latticed ceiling of the greenhouse occupying the upper part of the frame. The latter portion of the film includes several shots of Conservatory visitors, especially young children and babies. Transitions between shots are slow cross-dissolves.
