Abstract
In this home movie, a group of men, women, children, and dogs take turns riding a tandem water bike (or hydrocycle). The film was likely shot in the Channel Lakes area near Antioch, Illinois, where the Redlich family rented summer cottages in the 1930s. The bike may have been homemade, as Rudolph Redlich Jr. was the co-founder of the Eagle Sheet Metal Manufacturing Company.
