Blurred - Florence's Wedding in Color
Date Of Production
circa 1940
Abstract
The film shows a woman, presumably Florence Clark, with her family and friends before and after her wedding. She is seen going to and from the wedding venue. The image on the film appears streaky, likely due to a mechanical problem with the camera at the time that the film was shot.
Description
Starts with underexposed shots of the bride walking with her bridesmaids. Then it cuts to her and a man, possibly the groom, walking to and getting inside the car. In the next shot, the exposure has been corrected and the same car is shown, with the bride exiting the vehicle and walking into the wedding venue. There is a sudden cut to the bride and groom walking out of the wedding venue with their arms linked. People line the sidewalk to the road to celebrate the couple. The couple poses and walks to the car. Other people participating in the wedding also come out in pairs and pose. The film's last part shows the bride and groom's family and friends socializing.
