Abstract
Home movie depicting Memorial Day Boy Scout Parade in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago. It starts at the former St. Thomas Aquinas Church (5112 W Washington Blvd, now the St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church) and continues to the small park at the intersection of W Washington Blvd and N Laramie Ave where there is a gun salute in front of a war memorial.

The memorial reads “Memorial to the Soldiers Sailors and Marines of the West Side and of Austin - Erected through public subscription by the James G Brophy Post No. 195 American Legion”
The memorial no longer exists at this location.
