A television advertisement endorsed and narrated by John Ott for the lawn fertilizer, Fertilife, produced by the Frazer Illinois Compost Corporation.
Description
This advertisement promotes Fertilife by utilizing Ott’s time-lapse footage of a blooming rose and a plump tomato, as well as a short cartoon sequence that portrays anthropomorphized fertilizer organisms which use a miniature watering can and pickaxe to revitalize old dirt.
In 1955, a 50 lb bag of Fertilife cost $2.45.
