Groups participating in the march, as indicated by banners visible in the footage, included: the Lucretia Mott Centennial Coalition, Mormons for ERA, Labor United for ERA, the United Food & Commercial Workers International Union (UFCW), the Revolutionary Socialist League, United Steelworkers of America - Gary Works Womens Committee, the National Organization of Women Chicago, the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, UAW Local 438, and the League of Black Women.
