Abstract
Silent footage of the mural on the former Lawndale Bank at W 26th St and S Homan, painted by Vicente Mendoza as well as For a New World (Para un Nuevo Mundo), a mural painted by John Pitman Weber and Oscar Martinez on the side of Holy Covenant United Methodist Church (925 West Diversey Parkway) in 1973 and The Wall of Choices also painted by Weber and Martinez on the former Christopher House at 2507 N Greenview Ave.
This footage was shot for an unfinished documentary about the visual language of murals in Chicago's Hispanic communities.
