I wrote both the text and the music for the song, Toys I Had.

In it, the picture of a neurotic is attempted.

About midway through, the meaning of the original text begins to disintegrate, and using the same words, a new meaning is projected.

Until finally at the end, the performers don't play, but just pretend to play, and the final word is not spoken, but only formed.

When I was young and I'm not old, No, this is not what to be told.

The toys I had, I have no more.

And the toys I want Are the toys I had.

Scratches were playful things, and pains were jokes, And power was only that power.

Mountains were to cross, Malone if you could.

I couldn't, I can't.

Some friends of mine who are working in kinetic art and light sculptures put together a light box containing a number of lights which will flash on and off at given intervals of time.

To this day, I've programmed something which began with the Gettysburg Address and which I added music to.

It's a kind of informal thing.

Not informal in the sense of the mind because all the players who are there are serious about it.

It's free of all the unnatural seriousness that is generally associated with music and schools.

The feeling is quite lively and the kids are very energetic and very interested.
