I'm sorry, I'm not sure if I can help you.

I'm sorry, I'm not sure if I can help you.

I'm sorry, I'm not sure if I can help you.

I'm sorry, I'm not sure if I can help you.

I'm sorry, I'm not sure if I can help you.

How beautiful the world.

How blessed the people.

How blessed the people.

How wonderful is God.

How gracious to all the children of men.

How wonderful is God.

How gracious to all the children of men.

How gracious to all the children of men.

From our mother's womb, he has called us.

From the body of our mother, he has named our name.

How sweet the sound.

I was, was lost, but now I'm free.

I was, was lost, but now I'm free.

And the Lord said to our fathers, Go from your country and your kindred and your father's house to the land which I will show you.

And I will bless you and make you a blessing to many.

And I will bless you and make you a blessing to many.

And I will bless you and make you a blessing to many.

The Co -Portour was a bookseller with Bibles, hymnals, catechisms and devotional literature to fill the most urgent spiritual needs of those settlers who had no pastor.

And where there were pastors, only eternity will reveal a deep personal love which our spiritual forefathers felt for those men.

I remember one of our early pastors conducted two services every Sunday morning in his own village, then walked 11 miles to hold an evening service in another place.

125 years later, our world has changed and so have our ways, but the will of Jesus remains the same.

To let the love of Christ dwell in us richly and to share the word of life so that in the day of Christ we may not be found wanting.

I was in prison and you came to me.

I can't really blame it on now.

I'm sorry.

Why can't you? They put the idea in your head.

Do you go to church? Maybe you can help your friends out too.

Maybe you can talk to them and they'll go on.

Maybe they'll meet different friends.

Then you won't be a sister because all your friends will be with you.

That's true too.

I could try, you know.

It wouldn't hurt.

I was hungry and you fed me.

I was naked and you clothed me.

I was a stranger and you welcomed me.

I was sick and you visited me.

Jesus died on the cross, say what I say.

He died on the cross for everybody.

He died for everybody.

He died for you and you and you and you and you and me and him.

All of us.

Amen.

What's going to happen after we die? Go up in heaven.

God has entrusted unto us the message of reconciliation.

We are ambassadors for Christ.

We pray you in Christ's stead that you be reconciled to God.

Christ loves me.

The Bible says so.

Christ loves me.

He saved me.

He died for me.

My mother will pray for me.

And she will give me eternal life.

Christ loves me.

And we heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send and who will go for me? Here am I.

Send me.

Here in New Guinea there's no more difficult concept to try to communicate than love.

Just how are we going to translate this? Yeah, the Aukank I think fits pretty well for what people like and are attracted to.

Except that I don't think there's anything in Aukank that's not really the same as the Aukank.

Meaning love that would express giving or commitment.

You know enough by him to spell it.

Me monocetank long head.

Aukank long head.

I'm going to put him back on this for a while.

I'll talk Aukank.

And we talk monocetank.

Yeah, I think the way he's feeding it back, we're going to have to have an awful lot of trouble trying to sort out any difference between the two.

And the Lord said, What you have heard and trust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

And the Lord said, What you have heard and trust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

And the Lord said, What you have heard and trust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

And the Lord said, What you have heard and trust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

And the Lord said, What you have heard and trust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

And the Lord said, What you have heard and trust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

And the Lord said, Behold, My name shall be honoured by a people who do not know me, And praised by nations afar off.

India is a country where we have a number of art forms.

India is really famous for its music and also for dance.

But for some reason or other, the Christian churches all through the centuries have never used the art forms in proclaiming Jesus Christ to the people in this country.

So the Christian Arts and Communications Service decided to use indigenous classical music, which is a prayer, praises God for His grace.

And He expresses His desire to surrender Himself totally at the feet of the gracious God who has revealed Himself in Christ Jesus.

And the Lord said, Behold, My name shall be honoured by a people who do not know me, And praised by nations afar off.

And the Lord said, Behold, My name shall be honoured by a people who do not know me, And praised by nations afar off.

And the Lord said, Behold, My name shall be honoured by a people who do not know me, And praised by nations afar off.

And the Lord said, Behold, My eyes are upon them that fear me, To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine.

The Lord said, Behold, My eyes are upon them that fear me, To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine.

The Lord said, Behold, My eyes are upon them that fear me, To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine.

And the Lord said, Behold, My eyes are upon them that fear me, To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine.

And the Lord said, Go out and bring in the poor, And the maimed, and the blind, and the lame, That my house may be full.

And we said, Sir, what you have commanded has been done, And still there is room.

And the Lord said, What I told you in the dark, utter in the light, And what you have commanded has been done, And still there is room.

You have heard a whispered, preach from the rooftops.

On Christmas night all over the world, as we join hands in peace and understand, there's joy for everyone in every land, and all is right on Christmas night all over the world.

In Mexico the children all will play, the fiesta will begin, they believe in the joy of Christmas.

And in Africa, proud is born, for the Prince of Peace.

While in Japan every little child should cheer, says, may your joys increase.

Follow, it's Jesus.

On Christmas night all over the world, as we join hands in peace and understand, there's joy for everyone in every land, and all is right on Christmas night all over the world.

I guess at least part of my answer would be that we ought to be able to see that well -trained pastors and teachers are the very lifeblood of the Church.

And the point that I'm getting at is that the future of the Church and of our work lies in your hands.

That really comes clear from the perspective of 125 years of synodical history.

As the church bell rang, my thoughts raced back across the years, and my soul cried out in joy and gratitude for all the blessings I have received in my lifetime.

As the choir began to sing, a figure appeared from the minister's study, our son in his first church assignment as full -time servant of the Lord.

How can one put into words the innermost utterings of a grateful heart? As my husband's grip on my hand tightens, surely my cup overflows.

Amazing grace.

Yes, it was God's amazing grace that blessed the work of our Church for the past 125 years.

He has blessed us and made of us a blessing.

It is fitting, therefore, that today we rededicate ourselves to the task which he has set before us.

Behold, he says, I have set before you an open door which no one is able to shut.

Open doors are the opportunity.

Entering is the task he has given us.

As never before our world needs his amazing grace.

As never before his grace is ours not to keep, but to share.

As never before this is the time to thank and praise him for his mercy to us.

By returning a portion of his blessings for the 125th anniversary thank offering, we can enter more open doors, reach more, teach more, and love more, so that all can share with us the joy of his amazing grace in Christ Jesus our Savior.

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me I once was lost, but now I'm found Was blind, but now I see Surely I am coming soon.

Come, Lord Jesus.
