Abstract
Loosely assembled footage depicts the presidential inauguration of George H.W. Bush on January 20, 1989, and the subsequent presidential inaugural concert on January 21, 1989. Footage includes shots of the inaugural parade along Pennsylvania Avenue, Billy Graham’s invocation, Bush’s speech, anti-Bush protestors, the United States Capitol Building, the Garfield Monument, the Washington Monument, the Robert F. Kennedy Department of Justice entrance, and other landmarks within the U.S. Capitol Grounds.
