You You There are many kinds of musical instruments We can see some of them being played in marching bands at parades and football games and other special events When the band gives concerts the music is more serious or descriptive We see some of the instruments in dance Sometimes a few of the instruments will play together in various combinations And of course a great many instruments play in a full orchestra You These are instruments of the band and orchestra Let's look at a band and an orchestra and the instruments will find used in each of them a Band is composed of many musicians playing their instruments together It's a kind of musical team where everyone contributes an important part Where the conductor is the captain holding the parts together making sure each part fits in just right? In a band we'll find certain sections or groups of instruments This group is called the brasses or the brass instruments these produce the brilliant powerful sounds of the bank In the brass section you will find trumpets French horns Trombones And many other brass instruments This is another section of the bank this is the section of the woodwind The woodwind instruments add a variety of tone color to the sound of the bank Here you find instruments including the flute The clarinet And the best soon Playing together with the other woodwinds of the band And Here is still another section of the band the percussion Instruments The percussion instruments emphasize the rhythm of the music and they produce special sound effects In this section are the drums The cymbals The marimba And many others The percussion instruments The woodwinds And the brasses These groups of instruments playing together make up the full band An Orchestra sounds different from a band mostly because of the instruments in The orchestra to has certain sections Here is a section of the orchestra you should recognize the brass section it is similar to the bank Do you recognize this section The woodwind And this section of the orchestra like the band the orchestra has its percussion instruments There is one group of instruments in the orchestra that is not in the band you've probably noticed them already The section of strings is not in the bank and it helps to make the orchestra sound different There are more string instruments in the orchestra than any other kind of instrument the string section includes the violin The Bases The heart Oh These and other instruments make up the string section of the orchestra All the sections playing together under the direction of the conductor give us the full sound of the orchestra In the orchestra as in the band there are many skilled musicians playing together Behind each player is practice the careful and regular practice that it takes to play any instrument well But even though it takes work boys and girls who play in bands and orchestras will tell you this it's fun You
