Abstract
A silent amateur film that appears to have been meant as a "music video" for the 1981 Electric Light Orchestra song "Another Heart Breaks."
Description
The film opens with a series of neatly hand lettered title cards reading: "Another Heart Breaks: produced by Hulton & Armstrong for Prologue Productions."
A man plays his guitar outdoors, then smashes it against a shed. He uses a sledgehammer to continue smashing the guitar. A glass is knocked off a desk and smashes into pieces. A man, who is smoking, walks down the road toward the camera. A closet dramatically opens on its own. A slowly zooming out shot of a ceiling fan. Shots of a house and someone in front of the front door, posing. A car passes. A dog runs through the yard. A man hangs off of a tree branch and jumps down, walking toward the camera. The camera cuts to the house again, and the man and the dog run out of the front door.
