The Witch and the Hoboes

Transcript (Download)

And now on with the show.

This is a story for Halloween.

It is about a witch, a modern witch that is, and two hobos.

In this story, the hobos are looking for a place to sleep and have a meal.

The witch named Glinda has been alone for a long time and does not have many visitors.

So she welcomes the hobos.

But the hobos named Bob and Bill do not like the looks of the house or Glinda.

There's a house.

Oh, I don't like the looks of it.

It looks spooky.

We need a place to sleep.

Let's go anyway.

Oh, okay.

I guess it'll be all right.

Let's go.

Where's the doorbell? It must be that string.

Pull it.

I can't reach.

Oh, I'll get it.

Hi.

Won't you come in? No, we'd better get going.

Oh, please come in.

Welcome to my house.

Looks kind of weird to me.

Won't you stay for dinner? Okay.

Ah, what are those? Those are my pets.

I'll take them away.

We've been walking for days and I'm starved.

When do we eat? Right now.

It's not bad.

It's my favorite.

It's called Hobo's Delight.

What's that? Bat wings, spider webs, and other things I like.

Look, they don't feel so good.

I'll show you to your room.

Okay.

What's that? I'm scared.

Let's get out of here.

Gee, now I'm lonely.

I wish the Hobos were back.

I think I'll bring them back.

Abracadabra, Hobos come back.

Hey, where are we? I got lonely.

Please stay.

No, we must be moving in.

Goodbye.

Come again.

Not if I can help it.

The first Hobo, Bob, is played by Steve Sandor.

The second Hobo, Bill, is played by Matt Daniels.
