Abstract
Loosely assembled footage documents a variety of parade floats decorated for county assessor candidate Tom Tully, R.C. Coil Spring Mfg Co., Parkway Bank & Trust Company and First State Bank of Chicago’s salute to Polish banker Piotr Stadnicki, the Chicago Department of Health, Mayor Daley’s Citizens Committee for a Cleaner Chicago, the Department of Streets & Sanitation, Dan Rostenkowski, Cecil A. Partee, the legend of the Lajkonik, and a reviewing stand banner that advertises Mayor Bilandic’s Neighborhood Summer Program: 8th Annual Youth on Parade. Footage also includes a variety of marching bands and several shots of a wheel gymnastics performance on Soldier Field.
