Abstract
Loosely assembled footage of President Li Xiannian and an accompanying delegation of Chinese government officials as they tour Chicago while on a nuclear technology business trip. Footage includes the delegation’s trip to a Chicago White Sox vs. Baltimore Orioles baseball game at Comiskey Park on July 25, 1985, a tour through the Chicago Mercantile Exchange on July 26, a brief shot of political activists as they protest against Communist China and the delegation’s arrival in Chicago, and a meeting between Li and Governor James Thompson.
