Abstract
Loosely assembled footage shows Alderman Clifford Kelley, Alderman Ed Vrdolyak (at bat during the annual Aldermen vs. City Hall staff softball game), state Representative Bernard Epton, Mayor Harold Washington as he attends a baseball game, Washington as he speaks outside of Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, and Washington as he claims election victory while accompanied by his fiance Mary Ella Smith at Donnelly Hall on April 13, 1983. Footage also includes shots of Eleanor “Sis” Daley, public housing activist and aldermanic candidate Marion Stamps, and civil rights activist Robert Lucas.
