Abstract
Loosely assembled footage documents Chicago’s cityscape, which includes shots of the Chicago Sun-Times Building, the Wrigley Building, the LaSalle Towers Apartments, the Chicago Lakefront Trail, the Emanuel Swedenborg Monument’s base in Lincoln Park, bas-relief panels at the entrance to Chicago City Hall, a bronze relief panel on the Marquette Building, airplane contrails in the sky, the Fisher Building, Martin Puryear's sculpture Desire (1981), a giant inflatable Miller High Life beer bottle at an outdoor festival, the Theodore Thomas Memorial in Grant Park, the outside entrance to the Shangri-La Theater, and a parade float representing Mayor Bilandic’s Citizens Committee for a Cleaner Chicago.
