Abstract
Loosely assembled footage documents the 50th anniversary of the Chicago Christmas Parade as it proceeds along State Street. Shots feature children dressed as elves in gift wrapped boxes; Katia Harper, winner of the title, “Miss Black Illinois”; the Northwest Suburban Shrine Club; live reindeer; City of Chicago Department of Finance Assistant Controller, Leonard Utecht, disguised as Santa Claus.
