But I think for commentators to reach far and wide to start stretching and talking about racism with commercials and looking for quotas as far as participants in commercials concerning registration, when those commercials are shown on every station to every household in the city of Chicago.

Because number one, those commercials didn't even start to run until today.
And his remarks were made last night.
Number two, there are other commercials that are being worked on now and there are two others in the can that I understand do in fact have black participation.
And number three, 1608 Well Street is right immediately adjacent to a black community.
We do have black registrants through our program.
And in fact, we do have black registrars that we have made registrars ourselves.
And we do not participate in one field and one field alone concerning registration as Mayor Washington does on black radio and black radio alone.
And yet I haven't heard you or anyone else make one comment concerning that.
We've been fair, we've been open, we've been above board.
We are giving the same advertising to everybody across the board on all the television stations, to everyone's home in the city of Chicago.
And we are not zeroing in on anyone.
Where are these registration certificates from that you presented today? All over the city.
Are these people likely to be your supporters? In fact, to the students and to the young of the city of Chicago, to see the Mayor of Chicago conducting his registration drive at the county jail when crime is up significantly.
