Loosely assembled footage includes depictions of a “Dream Day” rally held in Marquette Park commemorating the 25th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech on August 28, 1988; The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum under construction, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, The Three Servicemen statue, a photography studio storefront, and other sights in Washington, D.C.; anti-nukes protestors and children play in Daley Center Plaza; televised footage of President George H.W. Bush; a St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Denver; a “free palm” advertisement located outside the Cook County Recorder of Deeds office; Bill Stamets’ friends relax in a Las Vegas pool; the Showmen’s League of America Canadian Chapter, the CN Tower, and other landmarks in Toronto; a Chicago rally for Ald. Timothy Evans’ 1989 mayoral campaign.
