Abstract
Loosely assembled footage depicts the following: a funeral procession drives down the street, staff congregate in Alderman Larry Bloom’s campaign office, a woman prepares to prune her garden, the Chicago Theatre’s marquee announces a tribute to Harold Washington on November 23, 1988, Representative Dick Gephardt campaigns for president in Iowa, Mayor Eugene Sawyer sits at his desk, a Jesus rally takes place outside of a movie theater, a “PLEASE HELP US SAVE OUR SHRINE” banner hangs before St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, and Chicago Cubs fans animatedly cheer for their team in 1989.
