Loosely assembled footage includes the following: Chicago’s Music of the Americas Festival takes place at Montrose Harbor on July 21, and at the South Shore Country Club on August 4, 1984; the Chicago Highland Games commence at the Conrad Hilton Hotel on July 27, and continue in Grant Park on July 28, 1984; the “Rhythm of the Streets” Festival is held outside the Vic Theatre in Lakeview; Mayor Harold Washington attends an outdoor music festival in Albany Park.
