We must never have narrow interests and spheres guiding us.

I'm going to say two things.

First, we'll keep our military commitments to South Korea because that's the kind of people we are.

We give our word, we keep it.

But I'm also going to ask them to take off those taxes and tariffs that we don't put on their cars coming here.

The only qualifications that are necessary to attend and participate are these.

Number one, you have to be 18 prior to the general election in November.

That means if you're 17, you'll be 18 after that.

You can qualify.

The other qualifications are relatively simple.

You have to be warm and you have to be green.

I would say that's corrupt.

It doesn't mean that in their own sense it's corrupt.

There's a lot of admirable things about their government that are better than a lot of other governments.

But if we got elected the way they get elected, people would say it's corrupt by our standards.

Is it more important that we emulate the Japanese or should we compete with the North Korean? This is your country.

We don't have five or ten people go in a room and decide who the presidential candidates will be.

This is your country.

Next Monday night, your voice here in Iowa is the most powerful voice in this land.

And there are a lot of people for good and legitimate reasons, self -interested reasons, who don't want the changes that I've talked about.

There's something very powerful and very strong in this country that sustains us and that keeps us strong.
