Loosely assembled footage primarily depicts University of Colorado Boulder protests against the CIA’s intervention in Nicaragua and campus recruitment. Shots include the following: Chicago police order a group of neo-Nazis to vacate a children’s playground; televised footage shows Governor James Thompson; the “Sodomy Patrol” performs a satirical pom-pom dance on the UC Boulder campus; a rent-a-fence encloses Edgar Britton’s Buffalo statue; protestors and University of Colorado police engage in a tug-of-war over a security fence panel; Ronald and Nancy Reagan attend a luncheon fundraiser for Republican senatorial candidate Ken Kramer held at Stapleton International Airport, and Bill Stamets interviews members of the Cherry Creek High School Marching Band in Denver, Colorado on September 8, 1986; televised footage shows President George H.W. Bush; a guerilla theater performs on the UC Boulder campus. Footage is interspersed with excerpts from Walt Disney’s The Tortoise and The Hare (1935).
