Description

Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company presents this corporate film, which was scripted and produced by Wilding Pictures. A writer is drafting a story of marriage between paint and glass, but is continuously interrupted by his son. While listening to his father’s draft, the child falls asleep, and in his dream the narrator walks the child through the colorful history of paint. Upon awakening, father and son tour a paint and glass factory where they learn the current uses of paint and glass. The narrator explains how the partnership of paint and glass has allowed humans to apply color dynamics in every day life for various purposes – to soothe, relax, inspire and more – which has resulted in a bright new world.
