Abstract
This sponsored film for Republic Steel Corporation uses a case history approach to familiarize salesmen with the factors involved in choosing the right steel for the right job. The first case history sees the salesman giving the third degree to his customer; the second uses a flashback investigation technique; and the third has the customer on the witness stand testifying on how he bought the right stainless steel. The treatment is analogous to a mystery-detective story with the stainless salesman playing the dream role of the detective.
