Abstract
This home movie opens with a shot of a birthday cake, candles aflame. The brand new three-year-old blows out the candles and cuts herself an unusually small slice to enjoy -- even sharing a little bit with the doll seated next to her. She opens her gifts and seems pleased with the gloves but a little less certain about the purse. Film closes with her playing on the sidewalk in front of her house and showing off her backwards-riding skills on her tricyle.
