Fellow, was there anything you could do when you arrived at the school yesterday as the fire broke out? Not a thing.

The fire would do everything.

It was perfect.

The sisters who were inside the classroom, they were leaving the children out, carrying the children out.

Were you able to identify any of the bodies there? To be honest with you, no.

I know some of them were already given a name, but I couldn't tell them apart.

I had known the children, but I still couldn't tell them apart.

No, I think they cover every point very thoroughly out there, and those poor heroic men that died stayed with their children to the very end.

They cover every point very thoroughly.

One little girl, as she said over the radio, that the men were stacking books around the openings leading into the school room to keep the smoke and heat out.

So they used everything they knew how.

It was humanly possible to save those little children.

And the fire department, if they had three minutes more, if they could have responded three minutes earlier, then all probability would have got every one of those children out.
