As we all know, Coach Abe Gibbon of the Bears isn't an inventive sort of guy.

He likes to confuse the issues.

Sometimes he doesn't have the manpower, so he confuses him in other ways.

And here we have Gary Rivneck, formerly of Purdue.

He's wearing number 60.

And we have Wally Chambers, who is also wearing number 60.

Is this the way it's going to be in the game, Wally? No, I don't know, I guess a big mix -up, that's about all.

Well, this is all sort of a mix -up.

You're not doing this just to sort of confuse things.

Gary, it wouldn't be a bad idea though to have two number 60s out there, would it? No, I'd like to have a replacement every now and then.

What will be your number during the ball game, Gary? 81.

That's my regular number.

They didn't have it, I guess it was in the laundry today, so they gave me 60.

All right, well, you guys got a big task ahead of you.

You're going to sort of be in charge of that pass rush.

We have not had too good of a pass rush here lately for the Chicago Bears.

But Wally, how's the exhibition season gone for you? I think I could have did a little better, but it's shaping up.

And I think I'm coming along a lot better now as the game goes on.

What have you learned in the few weeks? Well, I think I got the system down pretty well.

And Chuck is trying to teach us some different pass rush maneuvers.

Like I have one that I use my own and then he's trying to teach me some more.

Gary, how is it to play and be out here and practice alongside a guy like Wally? Can a guy like yourself pick things up? Sure, yeah, I picked up a lot off of Willie Holman.

He knows a lot of pass rush tricks and all the guys do.

And I have to learn them myself, so that's why I study them.

Gary, what's your reaction out of professional football? I really like it.

It's a change from college, but I like it.

Well, I still think it might be a good idea, though, if both of you guys would go out.

Gary goes out with number 60.

Wally goes out with number 60.

Louis Cardinals won't know which way to go.
