Abstract
Black and white outtakes of Basil “The Owl” Banghart being released from prison in 1960. The press ask him questions, but he is unable to say much as a condition of his release is that he does not give publicity. He says he is looking forward to seeing his family. Basil "The Owl' Banghart was a criminal, burglar and prison escape artist. He was part of Roger Touhy's gang and wrongly convicted for a hoax kidnapping of Chicago mobster Jake "The Barber" Factor in 1933.
