Abstract
Silent news outtakes capturing a deadly fire at San Francisco's Thomas Hotel on January 6, 1961. Firefighters are seen battling the blaze and recovering bodies from the building. They cover the dead in sheets and line them in front of a furniture store before loading them into ambulances. Ultimately, 19 people lost their lives in the fire.
