Marion Kudlick, Sr. was a prominent Polish-American attorney in the city of Chicago. He graduated from the John Marshall Law School and had a private practice in the city. He was born in 1892 and grew up in the Irving Park / Portage Park neighborhood on Chicago’s northwest side. He served as president of the Chicago Society of the Polish National Alliance, governor of the Illinois and Iowa District of Kiwanis, president of the Holy Name Society at St. Constance, and ran for the office of City Clerk. Marion Kudlick, Sr. is remembered as a meticulous individual, adventurous world traveler and dedicated amateur filmmaker. He owned state-of-the-art film and photography equipment. He and wife Sophie had a son, Marion Kudlick, Jr., and four grandchildren.
