Abstract
This collection contains 35mm elements related to an unfinished film about folk music in Chicago. Directed by Charles "Sky" King in the early 1970s, the footage features folk acts such as Aliotta Haynes Jeremiah, Fred Holstein, Bonnie Koloc, and Terry Callier performing at the Earl of Old Town and the Old Town School of Folk Music. The collection also contains a number of unrelated 16mm boxing matches.

Custodial History
The 35mm films were purchased at a Christie's auction by George Hagopian in the late '80s and subsequently donated to CFA in 2008. The 16mm films were donated in 2015.
Access Restrictions
This collection is open to on-site access. Appointments must be made with Chicago Film Archives. Due to the fragile nature of the films, only video copies will be provided for on-site viewing.
