Abstract
Over 100 reels of small gauge home movies shot by Arnold Dubren, mostly of trips taken with his brother. Destinations include Midwest ski resorts, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Florida, California, Colorado, Canada, Bahamas, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, and Israel. Many films capture outdoor activities such as cross-country skiing, canoeing, sailing, biking, and hiking.

Dubren, Arnold

Arnold Dubren was born in 1933 in Chicago. He was an avid photographer from a young age. He started shooting Regular 8mm film in 1953 and switched to Super 8 in 1969. He used Kodachrome exclusively and edited his films. He continued filming until 1999. He was a school teacher most of his life. He died in 2017.
