Following the death of J.L.Y. on March 18, 1995, the films were in the possession of James' son, Robert "Bob" Charles Young of Fairfax, Virginia. Homer L. Young (June 23, 1896-July 3, 1980) was the third of four children of Emaline (Emma) Deal Young (1859-1881) and James Louis Young (1862-1938). Homer's older siblings were fraternal twins named Rollie (1886-1964) & Ollie (1886-1916), while his younger brother was named James L. Young (1903-1995), whom Homer fondly called "Jimmy." Homer lived in rural Ohio as a child and later came with his family to Indiana in 1909. In 1919 he married Jessie P. Hosler, who predeceased him in 1965; they had no children. Homer had a successful insurance career and retired in Cleveland from the Life Insurance Company of Virginia in 1961, after which he moved back to Noble County Indiana. He remarried in 1970 to Ester Borger, who died in 1976.
