Abstract
Footage capturing a "Dump Daley" rally organized by supporters of mayoral candidate Joe Gardner at Bethel AME Church, including an interview with opposing candidate for alderman Wallace “Gator” Bradley where he discusses police harassment against his campaign and his legal right to run as a pardoned ex-felon, and speeches by Alderman Dorothy Tillman, Lu Palmer, and Conrad Worrill of the National Black United Front focused on Black political power and the need to “dump” Mayor Richard M. Daley.
