Description
Roslyn and A.J. Gaines spend time with their daughters, Ann and newborn Carolyn ("Sis"), in a park in Chicago in the fall of 1937. The last minute of the film depicts Franklin D. Roosevelt's motorcade as he visited Chicago on October 5, 1937. During this visit, he gave his “Quarantine Speech” at the dedication of the Outer Drive Bridge between north and south outer Lake Shore Drive.
