Description
A home movie shot between 1981 and 1985 by Adam Glinka, documenting the Glinka family's road trip to Colorado with friends. The group travels to visit friends in Breckenridge, stopping at various towns and visiting attractions along the way. The footage shows, among other things, a closed gold mine in Colorado and resorts in Aspen and Colorado Springs. The second part of the film documents the first months after the birth of Adam and Elizabeth's first child, as they care for their daughter and nurse her. Then we see snippets from her first birthday, celebrated at the "Terrapin Ridge” motel (unofficially called “Polskie Bieszczady” [Polish Bieszczady] after a tourist mountain region in Poland) run by Adam’s in-laws in Elizabeth, IL.
